Malachite comes from the Greek word malakos-meaning soft. And was often a popular gift among the Greeks.
In Ancient Egyptian time Malachite was actually use as pigment, it was know as one of Cleopatras favorite stone, it is also believed she was buried with a malachite vase.

Malachite, is widely know for immense protection, and warding of the evil eye. It also encourage quick healing, and helps bringing the mind body, and spirit into harmony.
